Making Aprons
For the past 2 weeks I've been practicing making money aprons for myself to wear at the farmers market and craft fairs. The four I've made so far have turned out and now I feel I can try some other fabrics. I want to have them for the different seasons and special events. Of course, the main reason is that I am having fun making them.

BEER SOAPS
I've re-started making soaps with beer for all the liquid. So, craft beer soaps are now at the craft fairs. They have their own special labels and unryu paper wrapping. I find that the beer helps make luxurious lather. They are very fun to make and coming up with a complimentary scent for the type of beer is a fun challenge. Right now I've used Oatmeal Stout from Mendocino Brewing Co. and Shock Top's Belgian Wheat Ale. The stout has a chocolate & burnt coffee taste to me and so the soap is scented with a chocolate based scent. The wheat ale is scented with coriander and citrus, which is what it tastes like to me. I plan so many more types. Research and development is alot of fun.
